• I kinda made the "Setup" webpage a bit better :3 previously it was an index with links to some files, now it's an index with links to some files,,, but I changed the order and added more text to it ^^ it was ordered by the time I wrote them, which kinda doesn't make sense. I still have to properly (re)write the files within, but that's not for today
• At least have some good news at the end of this month ;w; now with the files out there, I might try to do other things such as installing the VM already and whatever else I wanted to do; I'm so tired of waiting ;w;;;

• I've done it, finally ^^ y'know how I talked a lot about uploading the files somewhere at least,,, I've done that one, I uploaded around 30GBs in a few days ;w; not to the Internet Archive as I would've liked (the speed is too slow for some reason), so I got them elsewhere. I'll put the links 'somewhere' in the Next page, for the next month; and please mirror them or something, please ;w; Because it's on a filesharing website, one that is not easy to tell a robot 'download it' and it would,,, I would've loved to have something like that tbh, just upload a zip archive and let the server extract it and "make your own archive" by selecting files, oh boi that would've been so cool ;w; Anyway, I can't really do any of that unfortunately, not to mention the security implications that would require. Other than that, hopefully, with that done, now I may move onto writing tutorials about how to get some old games working in nowadays systems,,, yea sure, but at least on my Windows 8.1 VM I'm gonna try to make them work :3 funny thing how it's something that pretty much no one runs nowadays, y'all on Windows 10 or whatever right? Makes it quite a nice candidate to test some random things on I think
• Other than that, I'm not sure,,, I also wanna make a webpage for the VM setup I have, but I feel like I already talked about that one, I still haven't continued it right; I wouldn't expect anything else from me, just leave unfinished things around and never get around them, of course

• I'm gonna have to make quite a few tutorials for the tools I use ;w; one of them being a custom shell and custom "classic" "theme" colours I'll set up. I think I'll also make one of those on stream, gonna be fun figuring out again for like 6 hours or so,,, And also, I kinda give up trying to write music with the Trackers, I've not tried the other one with MIDIs yet, but I feel like it's gonna be the same way; I have no idea what I'm doing, and not in a fun way ;w;;;

• heh, I only uploaded a part of the videos so far, and it seems `7z` format is not browsable on there for some reason (only found out about it after waiting at least 1 hour to upload 750MB ;w; ), so I "converted" them into `zip` instead (decompress, compress back,,, that took quite some time), and that worked, I can actually browse the archive and watch the videos within without downloading the whole thing :3
  Bad part is that every single archive I made is `7z` because that was the default and the tool I'm using ;w; (7z on linux, 7-zip on windows)
  so,,, I kinda have to also "convert" all the other archives too? maybe, but maybe not, because I won't upload them to archive,org, I don't know if they'll do the same and allow the files again, so I'm not gonna try ^^ That means I won't have the ability to browse through the archives without downloading, but it doesn't matter much,,, maybe I'll change them into `zip` another time, till then. I'll see where else to upload them on, and it should be at least 2 different locations. My whole collection is ~30~35GBs, but they're split in parts; I looked into a few cloud storage options, and I've not yet decided on any, but soon enough I'll make a webpage with some listings of what's in the archives, because I kinda need it,,, tbh I'm mostly doing this for myself y'know, the stuff I am or was interested is pretty niche, but if anyone else finds it useful, that's also good :3
• Other than that, well, I'm not sure ;w; been trying to get a pretty obscure game to work on a VM but it ain't working with my ways,,, so, I gotta try some things that I have no experience with ;w; speaking of VM, I have an unfinished webpage for how I'll set up my VM to look and work the way it does, but ofc I've not set it up at all and I've not even made it yet,,, one of the reasons I wanted to upload the files would've been to have easy access to them and be able to just point to a direct-download of exactly what I'm talking about, but nothing is easy when I'm not self-hosting,,, I'd argue self-hosting is even harder but I digress. I wish I had some cloud-drive or whatever that I could just throw like 40GB into, and have something to extract them keeping their timestamps, and then forget about them and not needing to maintain. If you know someone willing to help me out, and also willing to teach me how to FTP into the "cloud" and upload the files (or whatever terms y'all using nowadays, make the files available by going to a URL and be presented with details about it or just download the file directly), then please let me know ^^ you can find the form thing linked by Sk some entries previously I think, they'll be the one checking but will make sure I take a look too :3
  Anyway, one of the reason I wanna get it working is so I can take screenshots and talk about it on a webpage, but the bigger reason is that I wanna win the screensaver again :3 you can just download it from somewhere, don't need to do any of this not-so-easy VM setup things, but I'm gonna do it anyway
• and yea, I can't even watch most of the videos properly,,, don't know what's up with that ;w; but oh well whatever, at least I hope the archives themselves are alright

• Progress is still being made :3 (kinda)
  It seems the archive,org doesn't accept some of my files, so I gotta find somewhere else,,, I'm sorry it's taking so long, the internet speeds are so slowwww ;w;
  I wanted to let my archives be browsed without having to download them (kinda like a file list, where you'd click on a filename and you'd be able to view/download only that thing), and I wanted to avoid encrypting them, but well, if another cloud service also doesn't wanna accept my files, I think I'll just do it that way. I might just encrypt them anyway, but that means having to wait hours for compressing them yet again ;w; I might just do it only for the windows software, the other things don't really need the encryption. The windows software I have is quite rare and I couldn't find some of them anywhere I looked,,, I kinda wanna share everything because I don't really know what to do with it anymore and more importantly I don't wanna be the only person that has it ;w;
  Anyway, something I wanted to do a long time ago is finally being done ;w; I can then free up some space, yayyy!! I'll try to remember to mention the results after I'm done with all this
• I love the old HDD that came with an old PC I had, that I've since repurposed as an external one ;w; It's amazing, that old PC had some issues, I never figured out exactly what it did, it just wouldn't want to install the OS anymore and would BSoD at that 'extracting files' part; its replacement just wouldn't start up at all one day. Didn't bother reusing the RAMs, it only had 2x 512MB of them, and they're incompatible with the other things I have, I'm prett ysure. The HDD is still going and I'm so happy for it ;w; it is the thing that's been hosting these files that I'm tyring to get out of there ;w;;; it also hosted a whole bunch of things, including the OS for those older PCs
  Also, I'll need to restructure the homepage again and whatever is linked from it,,, talk less about me and more about what I do :3 (because, y'know, with it being MY website, I kinda _have_ to talk about myself and what I do; me, only me, and my things, and what I've done, and maybe some other things too)
• Other than that, been in process of (re)writing some guide webpages ^^ mainly intended for myself, but I hope they can be useful to anyone else too ^^

• Well, some progress has been made about the files ^^ Currently I'm trying to go through the folders and remove things that don't have to be there (such as personal information, y'know), and then archive them with `7z`. I decided to just go with the default that you get when you made the archive with the command line, no fancy switches and what not (also decided not to lock the archive). After I'm done with archiving or while I do it, I'll also try to write a text document about them; you'll kinda need it for `misc` for example. And yea, I decided to simplify things and just go with 4 folders instead of a lot of them, those being `winsoft` `media` `gtamod` and `misc`. winsoft is short from windows software, this one is gonna contain that and some related things. Media is for image/audio/video; these are the ones I had to spend a lot of time pressing next-next-next-next, and once in a while remove some of them. among the images are screenshots and photos of the computer screen (yea, I know,,, don't blame me, it was much easier to take a photo instead of going through the effort of screencapping the desktop screen, and move the screenshot to the device I took the photo with,,, At that point just take a photo lol), these ones are things like song names and URLs, at most there's one on the screen; I'll just manually write them on some text documents and so be it.
  Fun fact, I wanted to say this on a live stream, but I don't know for sure when I'm going back to them,,, anyway, some years ago, I revisited someone who I remember back in the XP days, they had something like a custom XP clock that looked the same, except the hours were in a larger text size; I had no idea how they did that, and I still don't know, if you know please tell me. Anyway (x2), I revisited them, and they wanted to write some page from a book into a Word document, so they tasked me with writing it, but they wanted to read for me and I write it,,, nah, I asked if I can just look at the book and write from it myself; they didn't agree, until they were called by someone and just gave the book to me. If I tell you, the speed at which I was writing, without even looking at the screen while typing (at most I was taking a glimpse after a sentence to make sure I typed the whole thing correctly), even they were impressed, let alone myself. It's pretty rare when I get to copy-write things, I kinda wanna do it more, not just for myself. tbh, that ain't really gonna fly nowadays when you have OCR and whatnot, just as an AI to write it for you, y'know, so there's not much point in that ability of mine
• Oh boi, did that go several places,,, anyway (x3), I was supposed to look through the files, so I'm gonna do that. The main point of doing all this was initially to make it easier for me to access the files (that's pretty self-centered, I know right, but tbh many things have started like so; make something for some purpose for themselves, and expand from there, nothing wrong with that), but at the same time I can also let others take a look at the files too. Most of the things I'll share were on the Internet at some point, I'm just making it easier to access them. Normally you'd have to go through several layers of websites to get to something, at least that's what I did for some of them, and there's no way I can remember that everytime I wanna install a VM for example. So now you just go to the archive with the text files and see what you're looking for (in the case of the windows software). I may also make a webpage for these things but I'm not sure, I kinda don't wanna tie it to me, the 'personality' writing these words and sharing the archives is not really the 'owner' of them, another 'personality' is; basically, it's complicated, but I received permission to do whatever, so I don't care, I'm gonna do what I want :3 I may do webpages for like specific things such as the classic theme on the windows VM that I'm gonna use (it's specifically a Windows 8.1 VM, I'm not responsible if you try it anywhere other than a VM, do not complain to us)
• Anyway (x4) this has kinda went on for a bit too long, but I enjoyed writing and I wanna do it more :3 (reminds me I need to restructure the website yet again with all the various different things I continuously add to it,,, I don't know if anything of what I do is gonna be of any use to anyone, but some of them are for sure useful to me, which is all that matters :3 )
• Oh right, I'm just gonna upload the files to the Internet Archive, I think I mentioned this before but I'll do it again. Once they're all there I'll do a link to it
  Unrelated, I need to fix the webpages for the old External Links,,, that's gonna take some time ;w; at least with my knowledge now, I can get the webpage titles one-after-another automatically, instead of having to do it all manually when I didn't know better
  Anyway (x5) I'm gone for now, see you later with hopefully the files uploaded and me writing webpages about some games I wanted to write for a while (unlikely to happen any time soon, but who knows)

• Slowly making progress with the files, don't know how, but we're trying to,,, still need to sort through and move so many things around ;w;
  btw, this is not Nd currently (you can tell by the unusual time of day) and I don't really know how these things work, but I hope this went through
• Other than that, it seems the total amount for most of everything that needs to be archived is around 30GB, maybe less. tbh, I thought it'd be much more than that. fun fact, Nd likes minimalism and prefers things in small quantities and such, so it kinda checks out. hmm, and it also makes sense why they don't like when websites require JS to work
• we're sorry for not updating the website as much,,, from what I see, Nd is not feeling well currently and I don't know when they'll get better; I've been left to do Nd-things maintenance, and as much as I'd like to break things (I can basically do anything on their website and pretty much everything else, y'know) I'd rather not tbh

• tbh, what I think I wanna do is put everything in a single place, which is a bit difficult to do due to space constraints. I wish I had better ways of doing this, but whatever. It mostly slows me down and it 's annoying
  Anyway, other than that, I don't know if I've done anything ;w; I might have done quite a lot, I don't know, my memory is getting shorter and foggier by the days,,, in a way, it's a good thing, because I don't have to remember the stupidities that are happening everyday and are broadcast on the news that I haven't watched in a while because it made me depressed due to how I can't fix anything and that everything gets worse everyday, wait, did I say anything? Doesn't look like it,,, but yea, I did say something, I don't quite like how things are going and I hope they get better ;w;
  I talked about this stuff before and I don't wanna repeat it, if you'd like to know, it's,,, a lot basically. I thought I wouldn't have to ask for help, but I kinda do, and no one will do anything, of course. I've been here before, I tried this before, it never worked, never ammounted to anything, and I really don't like that it works for others. but whatever, anyway, I may try again, but I don't really expect anything to change. I need someone else to help me out with these, and also look at the numbers and maths and things because I'm not doing it ;w; last time I looked at numbers on the paperwork, my mind went dark and I got dizzy, I won't do that again, no-no (and it wasn't due to a lack of sleep, that's a different problem)
  Also, as a fun experiment, I'm going to drop a URL for asking me things :3 I'll try to check it like once a week or so, to prove something to Nd, they believe they'll receive at least something, me (Sk) kinda don't, but let's see ^^

• bit difficult to focus with all these worries,,, there's so many things I need to do and I wanna do them already ;w;
  someday I'll have to try and take a week off and do most of everything I wanna do. And I sure hope the things around me will improve soon enough, right; they better do, I'm tired, and I cba to explain further, I'm sick of it
• Other than that, I'm not sure what I got done, if anything ;w; Still trying to figure out how to organize the files in folders and what to do,,, that's like the hardest part for me, along with naming things; kinda the reason why I can't ever start or finish projects properly, I have to name things ;w;

• Simply put, I hate everything. The USB device I used to boot into a live Linux has somehow broken itself, and after reinstalling the ISO into it, half-way it became read-only and I can't do anything to it. It didn't even finish, so I can't even do anything with that USB. Anyway, maybe I told this already, but it doesn't matter. Also, another USB device also broke for some reason, and I kinda needed that one ;w; but again it became read-only and I can't do much else to it
  Other than that, I'm still trying to sort through the files ;w; maybe one of these days I can finally upload at least something ^^
